Solution Architect

Summary

Join Anaplan's Customer Success team as a Solution Architect and play a pivotal role in delivering sophisticated Anaplan planning solutions to strategic accounts. You will translate business problems into multi-dimensional Anaplan models, modify existing models, serve as an architectural SME, provide progress updates, develop model documentation, and participate in data integration and testing. This remote position requires a 4-year degree, 5+ years of EPM solution implementation experience, advanced Excel skills, and strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Requirements

• A 4-year degree in Finance, Accounting, or MIS
• 5+ years’ experience implementing Enterprise Performance Management solutions
• Advanced Microsoft Excel / financial modeling skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology – requirements gathering, design, build/test, and deploy (Agile methodology preferable)
• Superb written and oral communication skills
• Proven track record to lead and implement responsibilities simultaneously
• Penchant for service excellence and a collaborative style
• Strong understanding of data integration (inbound and outbound)
• Passion for business analytics, modeling, and planning
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Translate existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional models
• Modify existing models as part of a connected solution, optimization, or to incorporate new functionality
• Serve as the architectural SME for large-scale connected planning solutions
• Provide meaningful feedback and progress updates in a timely manner to the Business Partner and team
• Develop model documentation
• Participate in data integration and migration solutions
• Participate and/or lead UAT testing and deployment

Preferred Qualifications

• Consulting experience or experience in an Anaplan architecture role
• 1+ years building and using Anaplan models, as you will build and use them to automate and scale current processes
• Experience collaborating on dynamic projects with GTM teams
• Organizational change or project management leadership experience
• Master Anaplanner Certification
• Subject matter expertise in planning and modeling in Supply Chain, Finance, or Sales is strongly preferred
