Solution Architect

Summary

Join ClickHouse, a leading open-source column-oriented database company, as a Solution Architect to build out our rapidly growing user and customer community in the ANZ/ASEAN region. This remote role, based in Australia or Singapore, requires regional travel. You will work with complex business and technological requirements, translating them into solution designs. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients at all organizational levels, articulating ClickHouse's vision and securing commercial commitments. This role involves a solution-based approach to selling and creating value for customers, identifying new initiatives, and working with partners to scale the business. The ideal candidate is a technical professional with extensive experience in open-source software and cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience at a minimum with Open Source Software business models and proficiency in Cloud and Infrastructure software
• Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems
• Experience with creating POCs and reference implementations
• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Working with complex business and technological requirements and translating into the design of solutions, including data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise scale architecture
• Working directly with customers at every layer of their organization (C Suite to data scientists and developers) and acting as a trusted advisor for our users
• Articulate and evangelize the vision and positioning of both the company and products, and secure strategic commercial commitments
• Use a solution-based approach to selling and creating value for customers
• Identify and drive new initiatives that enable customers to turn their data into actionable business value and align these initiatives with their business outcomes for continued success
• Working with partners to help scale the business and build a strong technical ecosystem to support our customers in the Australia, New Zealand, and ASEAN regions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling databases and/or deploying applications with any of the major cloud providers
• Experience with database programming and data models
