Solution Architect

Collaborate with partners and internal teams to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end solutions. This role involves strategic consultation, ensuring partners achieve their business goals. You will focus on partner enablement, solution design, and technical leadership, serving as the technical point of contact for API integrations. The ideal candidate possesses strong API knowledge, experience in solution architecture, and a collaborative approach. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, or a similar role, preferably in the travel or e-commerce industry
• Strong understanding of APIs, RESTful services, and integration methodologies
• Hands-on experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar) and API tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger)
• Proven ability to analyze complex business and technical requirements to design scalable solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with B2C platforms, OTAs, and travel e-commerce and content partners to understand their business objectives and technical requirements
• Design end-to-end solutions leveraging Viator’s APIs to address partner needs, optimize performance
• Provide expert guidance on API capabilities, best practices, and integration patterns
• Support partners to design an implementation roadmap pre and post development help partners leverage Viator's API to build products efficiently
• Work closely with Viator’s product, engineering, and business development teams to advocate for partner needs and feedback to drive continuous improvement of Viator’s API offerings
• Serve as the technical point of contact for partners during the API integration process
• Conduct API demonstrations for partner teams
• Identify and address technical challenges and provide solutions to support integrations
• Assist partners in optimizing the performance of Viator’s APIs for scalability and user experience
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, use case libraries, and integration guides

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, travel technologies, and B2C integrations is a plus
• Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
