Join LightFeather as a Solution Architect - Cloud SME and leverage your technical expertise to manage and optimize multi-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will directly support the SE-Cloud Tools Service Offering and contribute to various projects. A key responsibility involves analyzing potential new product offerings, focusing on security and chargeback functionalities. You will automate processes using IaC tools, orchestrate containerized environments with Kubernetes, and ensure scalable, secure cloud operations. This is a full-time, remote position requiring US citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance. LightFeather offers a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
- US Citizenship
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret/Top Secret clearance
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT with a focus on cloud technologies
- Expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform and CloudFormation
- Proficiency in managing container orchestration systems, particularly Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of cloud-native monitoring and logging solutions
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and implement shared cloud tools related to security and chargeback services
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical SME for the SE-Cloud Tools Service Offering, ensuring effective implementation and optimization of tools and services
- Provide analytical support for evaluating potential new product offerings for shared cloud tools, focusing on security and chargeback capabilities
- Design, deploy, and manage multi-cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Develop and implement automation workflows using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
- Orchestrate containerized workloads using Kubernetes and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment
- Collaborate across teams to maintain secure, scalable, and efficient cloud operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in DevSecOps practices, integrating security within the development pipeline
- Expertise with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
- Experience managing hybrid cloud environments and implementing zero-downtime deployments
