Summary
Join Altium as an Enterprise Solutions Architect (ESA) and make a direct impact on implementing and tailoring innovative solutions for enterprise-level customers. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, providing expertise on Altium Enterprise solutions and bridging the gap between various departments. A day involves implementing solutions, building customer relationships, providing product expertise, offering technical guidance, creating Statements of Work (SOWs), collaborating with software engineers, and working with R&D. This role requires a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, at least 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role, and proven success in managing and growing enterprise-level customers. Strong technical skills, project management abilities, and excellent communication skills are essential. Travel is required.
Requirements
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent degree and experience
- At least 5 years in Enterprise Solutions Architecture, Customer Success, Professional Services, or a similar customer-facing strategic role. Experience with Altium’s products is highly desirable
- Proven track record of managing and growing multiple enterprise-level customers, with an ability to understand and navigate complex customer environments (e.g. integrations, workflows and business processes)
- Domain expertise and work experience in PCB design or subject matter expertise in functional areas (e.g., ECAD design process, testing, PLM)
- Strong hands-on experience with ECAD software, PLM integrations and workflow management is essential
- Ability to track and coordinate multiple efforts toward a common goal to ensure customer priorities are delivered on time and meet expectations
- Proposes solutions using technical knowledge and experience, building alignment and setting clear expectations with customers on the way forward
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to accurately describe technical details of customer issues and how to resolve them
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to different audiences
- Build effective relationships with colleagues across Professional Services, Marketing, Sales, Support and R&D
- Willingness to travel, including meeting customers onsite each month
Responsibilities
- Implementing Altium Enterprise solutions by understanding and analyzing our customers existing framework, environment, challenges, and bottlenecks of their electronics hardware development process
- Experience building long-term, strong and successful customer relationships by demonstrating empathy, active listening, and resiliency skills
- Provide a deep understanding of Altium’s products, with knowledge of how to apply them in relevant customer contexts. Keep up-to-date on releases, features and product roadmaps
- Work closely with our customers to identify, prioritize and quantify key-business drivers, and provide technical expertise on process and optimizations using Altium’s solutions to meet customer objectives and create value
- Develop an agreed SOW where key tasks and deliverables are quantified for each proposed solution and effectively presented to the customer
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to develop customized solutions to further accommodate our customers requirements
- Work with R&D to resolve technical gaps that have the highest impact on the customer and Altium’s business
Preferred Qualifications
Fluent in English. German is beneficial for roles in Europe
