Summary
Join Coalition as a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect and leverage your expertise to solve customer challenges. You will represent Coalition’s Managed Security Services portfolio, support account executives, and translate product benefits to various buyers. This role involves strategic consulting on cybersecurity operations, staying current with industry trends, and delivering presentations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage project tasks effectively. This fully remote position, preferably in the Pacific Time Zone, offers competitive compensation and benefits. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in sales engineering or solutions architecture, a strong understanding of security technologies, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Fluent in English
- 5+ years of professional experience beyond college, preferably in sales engineering, solutions engineering or solutions architecture
- Have a fundamental understanding of software, computer, and network architectures
- Posses experience in selling, managing, or using security technologies and solutions such as SIEM, MDR, EDR, and XDR
- Articulate the fundamentals of MITRE ATT&CK and NIST CSF frameworks
- Be an agile problem solver who builds collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and prioritizes parallel tasks efficiently
- Be willing to train others and participate in team engagements
- Self-motivated and driven for outstanding results with focus on quality and the customer
- Ability to be flexible and work in a rapidly changing, collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral, written and social media communication skills
- Solid technical background with apps like Excel, Google slides/powerpoint & business acumen
- Curious, positive and aggressive attitude
- Willing to travel periodically (10%)
Responsibilities
- Represent Coalition’s entire Managed Security Services portfolio
- Support your aligned account executives in providing technical sales subject matter expertise
- Understand and interpret customer business and technical requirements to translate product and service benefits across all types of buyers and influencers
- Provide strategic consulting to customers on how to mature and streamline cybersecurity operations and programs
- Learn new and emerging technologies and remain current with cybersecurity news, threats, and trends
- Potentially attend industry trade shows or security related events in support of go to market activities
- Leverage exceptional communications skills to lead business and technical presentations, demonstrations and conversations
- Effectively manage project tasks in a methodical and disciplined manner
- Set and manage expectations with senior stakeholders and team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as security operations, product and product marketing to provide input into overall strategy and roadmap
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, GSEC, or other relevant certifications
- Experience with major EDR vendors such as SentinelOne, Crowdstrike, Microsoft Defender and others
- Experience with major SIEM and Security Data Lake vendors such as Microsoft Sentinel, SentinelOne Singularity Data Lake and AI SIEM, Crowdstrike Next-Gen SIEM, Splunk and others
- Experience with Vulnerability Management Technologies
- Experience with Hyperautomation and SOAR solutions
- Experience with IT and Security case management solutions such as JIRA and ServiceNow
