Solutions Architect

Summary

Join Databricks as an Enterprise Solutions Architect and help large enterprises become more data-driven. Working closely with Enterprise Account Executives, you will define and lead the technical strategy for key accounts, driving wider adoption of our ML & AI products. Leverage your expertise in value selling, technical account management, and technical leadership to achieve success. You will work with a team providing hands-on support, but you must possess a strong technical understanding of ML & AI applications. This role involves working with multiple clients, guiding them through a data transformation journey, and building a network of technical champions within each account. Requirements

• Proficiency at establishing virtual teams, and leading them to ultimate success within the account
• Experience working very large (> $1m ARR), global accounts
• Form relationships with executives and influencers
• Present a convincing point-of-view to important decision-makers that leads them down a path of success
• Technical in big data, data science and cloud
• An ability in data-driven business transformation, and driving change with data
• Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala or Java

Responsibilities

• Work with multiple clients as the main technical voice for Databricks
• Lead your customers on a transformational journey, helping them to evaluate and adopt Databricks as part of their strategy
• Implement the technical strategy in the account, in close understanding of the strategy
• Build a movement of technical champions within the account
• Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions
• Provide structured mentorship for other team members
• Gain the respect of your peers based on your experience, insight, and contributions
