Summary

Join InterPayments, a Series A FinTech SaaS company, as a Partner Development Manager reporting to the VP of Partnerships. This home-office based role (with up to 20% travel) focuses on growing strategic enterprise-level partnerships. You will improve partner adoption by aligning incentives, creating go-to-market strategies, and enabling partners to achieve their goals and our revenue objectives. This high-impact role requires close collaboration across various departments. You will be responsible for expanding existing partnerships, developing a referral pipeline, aligning partner sales teams, and providing sales enablement and support. Success in this role requires strong collaboration, project management, and communication skills, along with a revenue-focused mindset.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years enterprise B2B SaaS direct sales and/or partnership experience
  • Intense desire to make an impact and a strong sense of ownership
  • Strong collaborator who can lead large cross-functional teams and provide guidance, feedback, and support where needed to ensure shared success
  • Structured decision maker who constantly thinks about the 2nd and 3rd order effects of actions
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to mitigate risks and dependencies as well as deliver programs at high quality and on time
  • Excellent understanding of incentives, negotiation and contracting skills, and a desire to find and balance all sources of value to all parties
  • Self-awareness and humility. You set a strategy and adapt it based on the evolving dynamics of each partnership
  • Polished presentation and communication skills. Strong executive presence and proven ability to build successful executive relationships and influence decision makers
  • Revenue-focused desire to meet and exceed quarterly results for sales bookings/billings

Responsibilities

  • Expand existing strategic partnership relationships in the B2B payment space with ISVs (A/R platforms, EBPP platforms), ERPs, Payfacs, large banks, and gateways
  • Develop consistent and forecastable referral pipeline
  • Develop relationships and expand sales opportunities
  • Align and incentivize partner sales teams
  • Provide sales enablement and support to both enterprise and complex referral and integrated partners
  • Provide ongoing education and training to support partner field sales efforts including compliance, competitive landscape, and case studies
  • Clearly and succinctly summarize program strategy, goals, risks, and dependencies, tailoring communication based on audience (e.g., internal senior leadership, program core team, and external clients)
  • Track, Manage and Present partner sales metrics and reports
  • Attend industry trade shows and conferences
  • Work closely with partners to plan and conduct webinars, launch marketing campaigns, and build awareness within target verticals
  • Learn new and emerging technologies and remain current with payment and fintech trends

Preferred Qualifications

Managing complex relationships with large enterprises and prior payments experience
