Requirements

  • Proven experience in data architecture, solution design, or a similar role within enterprise environments
  • Expertise in cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks)
  • Strong knowledge of modern data architectures (Data Mesh, Data Lakehouse)
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and real-time data processing
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Graph DBs) and data integration tools
  • Ability to conceptualise complex data ecosystems across different systems and processes

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architecture solutions
  • Develop and maintain enterprise data models, reference architectures, and governance frameworks
  • Represent the EDAE team in Demand Review and Prioritisation meetings
  • Collaborate with IT engineering teams across ERP, Commercial, and Lab Systems to guide data pipeline, warehouse, and lakehouse implementations
  • Evaluate and recommend data technologies, platforms, and tools to enhance enterprise data capabilities
  • Ensure data security, compliance, and governance standard processes are embedded within the architecture
  • Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and innovations in data architecture

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Snowflake, DBT, and Python
