Summary

Join Mark43's Professional Services Solutions Architecture team as an experienced Solutions Architect. You will focus on solution design and stakeholder engagement to optimize integration processes and support scalable customer deployments. Design and implement integration strategies to ensure seamless interoperability between Mark43’s platform and third-party systems. Take ownership of integrations from start to finish and become a trusted knowledge resource. Guide teams on design principles and security considerations, promoting collaboration and continuous learning. Refine integration processes and documentation. Shape the future of public safety technology and influence high-impact architectural decisions in a mission-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in solution architecture, enterprise integration, or SaaS platform design
  • Ability to drive technical strategy and define best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • BS/BA technical degree
  • Experience in API design, microservices architecture, and enterprise integration patterns
  • Familiarity with middleware solutions and security frameworks
  • Proficiency in API, SQL, XML, and JSON
  • Understanding of Kubernetes and Linux systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to lead through influence

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain integration frameworks and API strategies
  • Define best practices for system integrations, ensuring security and scalability
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations
  • Recommend middleware and API management platforms
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback
  • Act as the primary contact for stakeholders, addressing their needs and concerns
  • Work with engineering, product management, and customer success teams to align integration solutions with business needs
  • Provide guidance on industry standards to optimize integration processes
  • Guide teams on design principles and security considerations
  • Promote collaboration and continuous learning
  • Work with team members and partners to provide technical mentorship and thought leadership
  • Refine integration processes and documentation
