Requirements
- Clearance: Eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 10 - 12 years of experience or a Master's with 8 - 10 years of experience. An Associates with 12 -Β 15 years of experience or a PhD with 6 - 7 years of experience also qualify
- KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA): Experience developing technology differentiated solutions on winning proposals, Experience leading cross functional groups in the development of new/novel solutions, Experience in multiple phases of the business lifecycle such as qualification, capture / proposal, transition and implementation, Experience working with internal and/or external engineering review boards or full Agile process ceremonies, Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, Demonstrated knowledge of software solutions and implementations, Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Responsibilities
- Plan and design new technical solutions
- Develop innovative technology solutions for key customers and capture activities
- Provide expertise and leadership in all aspects of engineering discipline including software architectures, systems engineering processes, and cost estimates
- Work with customer stakeholders across the enterprise to identify opportunities for innovations
- Gather requirements and analyze customers' needs to determine best functional and cross-functional solutions
- Identify and support facilitation of efficient and cost-effective solutions and analyze system specifications to meet customer requirements
- Perform market research and cost planning to establish total cost of ownership and return on investment
- Create detailed engineering and go to market plans that account for all phases of implementation
- Both develop and support change management processes and facilitate engineering review and change control boards
- Perform feasibility analysis, market analysis efforts, and develop comparison matrices to determine most effective solutions to meet requirements
- Assess and develop resource plans and schedules
- Lead a team of cross functional technical resources and business and product specialists
- Support operational strategies aligned within your program and initiatives that optimize processes, enhance productivity, and ensure quality across all program functions
- Identify and forward to your leadership any opportunities that could lead to growth within your work area
- Ensure all contractual deliverables are met/exceeded to the customer's satisfaction
- Within your program, build productive and positive professional relationships with clients
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with C4ISR systems, Space systems, Digital material management or related DoD / IC systems, Software certifications (various agile certifications, cloud, or other), Has hands-on software operations and engineering experience, ITIL v4 certification, PMP Certification
