Summary

This customer-facing role demands strong technical and communication skills, requiring you to effectively communicate customer issues to engineers, perform product demos, and guide customers through implementation. As a product subject matter expert, you will be the bridge between product, engineering, customer success, and sales, troubleshooting issues and building processes to empower customer self-service. You will own technical relationships with customers, collaborate with sales and customer success teams, gather requirements, and provide best practices. Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in CS or equivalent
  • Experience working in a technical customer facing role
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python
  • Experience troubleshooting complex technical customer issues
  • 3+ years of working experience in a SaaS environment

Responsibilities

  • Own technical relationships with new and existing customers
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to convert prospective customers while retaining and growing customer relationships
  • Gather requirements, guide customers through implementation, provide best practices, and advocate for our product
  • Understand customers’ needs with the ability to guide them through a technical solution that makes sense for both them and the product
  • Own these same responsibilities for prospective customers during their trial phase to aid in converting POCs into paid subscriptions
  • Troubleshoot and create solutions to customer issues
  • Build processes and technologies to empower our customers to self serve
  • Ideate with the engineering team to enhance our product offerings and incorporate customer feature requests and relevant feedback
  • Adding to and enhancing existing documentation
  • Reviewing configurations, logs and other customer information to troubleshoot technical issues

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with deploying tools on premises
  • Experience with secrets management
  • Passionate about cybersecurity
