Solutions Architect

Requirements

• Familiarity with Docker / Containerization
• Knowledge of security technologies such as OAuth2, TLS, mTLS, and JWTs
• Experience with open-source data formats: parquet, orc, Delta Lake, and/or Iceberg
• Familiarity with Cloud Data engines - such as Snowflake, Databricks, ClickHouse, or BigQuery
• Experience in tuning analytics workloads that query terabytes or more of data
• Knowledge of Apache Arrow technologies, including Flight and/or Flight SQL
• Familiarity with SQL Abstraction libraries - such as Ibis, SQLAlchemy, R
• Experience with open-source SQL/Data engines - such as DuckDB or Apache DataFusion
• Programming in C++, Go, or Java

Responsibilities

• Deploy and optimize Voltron Data's GPU query engine, Theseus, and open-source libraries
• Engage with customers, understand their unique challenges, and provide technical guidance
• Create demos using the company's open-source tools and Theseus
• Collaborate with marketing and product marketing teams to write blog posts
