Summary
Join our team as a Solutions Architect - Operations and contribute to our company's growth strategy. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, translating them into well-architected solutions, and providing advisory services leveraging industry best practices. You will also lead workshops, develop functional solution design documents, and collaborate with consultants and architects on third-party applications. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of NetSuite experience, expertise in various areas like Inventory, BOM & Assemblies, WIP & Routings, MRP, WMS, Forecasting, and Advanced Manufacturing, and familiarity with financial impacts within logistics areas. You will also be responsible for mentoring and coaching new team members, actively participating in proof of concept exercises, and continually learning about new capabilities within the NetSuite ecosystem. This is a remote role, but preference is given to local candidates.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years NetSuite experience
- Experience facilitating design and configuration of NetSuite, specifically within the following areas: Inventory, BOM & Assemblies, WIP & Routings, MRP, WMS, Forecasting, Advanced Manufacturing
- Familiarity with financial impacts within the logistics areas, such as Inventory management, Costing, Procurement, and Sales
- Understanding of SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, Integrations, and Reporting
- Ability to lead workshops, including the gathering/documenting of requirements and use-cases and recommendation of envisioned processes
- Experience testing NetSuite application instances to successfully validate application setups, including input to test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts is required
Responsibilities
- Liaison with Clientele to understand the desired outcomes, scope, and requirements and translate the business needs into well-architected, maintainable solutions
- Provide advisory services leveraging leading industry practices to our clients in various matters impacting financial analysis and reporting
- Understand key configuration and design decisions in the ERP Platform and drive discussions with the business on best practices using core capabilities available in the system
- Develop functional solution design documents aligned with business objectives
- Play a leadership role in our expanding team and contribute towards the company’s growth strategy and objectives
- Collaborate with consultants/architects on various 3rd party applications to successfully deliver an integrated solution for our clients
- Actively participate in iterative proof of concept exercises to explore solution options, documenting alternatives explored, and preparing a recommendation and estimates for moving forward
- Grow expertise on our team by mentoring and coaching new or less experienced team members from both a technology and consulting perspective
- Be curious and continually learn about the business and new capabilities within the NetSuite ecosystem in order to make recommendations around future initiatives of our processes and tools, including evaluation of patches and upgrades
- Speak and present to any audience within an organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred 5 years of Warehouse Distribution and/or Manufacturing Industry experience
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and build teams that deliver services and solutions that surpass client expectations
- Analytical and curious mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all levels of an organization
- Ability to multi-task and provide excellent follow-up in a fast paced, multiple account environment
- Ability to travel as necessary up to 15% possible (if/when safe to do so)
- Must be located in continental United States
