Summary
Join Aligned Incentives as a highly motivated and experienced innovator to define data connections and transformations (ETL/ELT) for automating customer data collection and validation. You will collaborate with consultants and analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications for standardized data pipelines. Responsibilities include data discovery, gap analysis, developing data harmonization specifications, configuring core data tables, and coordinating with the data engineering team. A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred, but a Bachelor's degree with strong expertise will be considered. Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in data architecture, modeling, and design are essential. Additional preferred qualifications include CDMP certification and experience with LCA, Python, Pandas, and Power BI.
Requirements
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Have strong experience collaborating and coordinating with data owners and stakeholders
- Be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Have experience translating business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses
- Have experience defining the data architecture framework, standards, and principles, including modeling, metadata, reference data such as product codes and client categories, and master data such as clients, vendors, and materials
- Have experience defining reference architecture and data flows with the intention of creating repeatable and standardized processes to manage data processing
- Have experience in visualizing and designing a solutionβs data management framework that describes the processes used to plan, specify, enable, create, acquire, maintain, use, archive, retrieve, control, and purge data
- Possess strong and proven data modeling and design skills
- Demonstrate leadership in developing and executing plans to identify data sources and deriving solutions for addressing data gaps and issues associated with low data fidelity
- Be highly experienced with one or more database platforms such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL
- Possess an entrepreneurial mindset and be eager to learn new fields and grow with the company
- Have a Master's degree in computer science, data science, information science, or equivalent field (Bachelor's degree with strong subject matter expertise and measurable success will be considered)
Responsibilities
- Complete a data discovery and gap analysis
- Develop specifications for data harmonization, data gap management, data validation procedures, data workflows, and data visualizations
- Configure core data tables within the customerβs data schema
- Coordinate with the data engineering team to implement all specifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Be a Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
- Have an understanding of the science of life cycle assessment (LCA)
- Have experience developing solutions for software applications
- Have experience with Python and Pandas for data transformations
- Have experience with Power BI for data modeling and visualizations
