Join CoreWeave's Global Supplier Management and Sourcing team as a Global Sourcing Manager, playing a key role in establishing strategic partnerships to drive technical innovation, maintain quality, and achieve cost savings. You will be the primary commercial lead for crucial hardware systems, spearheading sourcing initiatives, building supplier relationships, and ensuring supply chain resilience. Leverage your expertise in navigating the hardware landscape, leading negotiations, and collaborating with engineering teams to shape business and technology roadmaps. Optimize the total cost of ownership for CoreWeave's expanding global infrastructure, leading cross-functional teams through supplier selection, securing favorable agreements, and continuously assessing supplier performance. Requirements
- 8+ years of proven experience in data center, hyperscaler, cloud service provider, or AI system hardware supply chain and related industries
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or Business Administration. Equivalent experience in high-tech commodity management will be considered
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into tangible results and drive execution
- Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and consensus-building skills
- Experience collaborating effectively with internal and external partners in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
- Strong understanding of "should cost" modeling and value analysis
- Proven experience partnering with C-suite executives and key supplier stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and refine comprehensive sourcing strategies and roadmaps to drive continuous improvement
- Maintain a pulse on emerging technologies and industry trends to conduct insightful competitive analyses
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with executive leadership at core suppliers, influencing their business models and technology roadmaps
- Lead complex supplier negotiations, manage RFQs/RFPs, and finalize business awards
- Own and implement master supply agreements and statements of work (SOWs)
- Drive commercial engagements for prototype sourcing and development, supporting seamless transitions from NPI to mass production
- Propose and implement innovative supply chain enhancements to drive efficiency and cost savings
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in a technical, engineering field, or Business Administration (Preferred)
