Summary
Join IXL Learning as a 1099 contractor to create short, engaging instructional videos in Spanish for elementary school students. You will use provided scripts to produce videos explaining Spanish Language Arts concepts and work through examples. High-quality voiceovers and adherence to production guidelines are essential. Fluency in Spanish (native level) and English is required, along with video production experience and an understanding of age-appropriate instructional approaches. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and experience teaching Spanish Language Arts or translating professionally is a plus. Compensation is $200 per completed video.
Requirements
- Fluency in both Spanish (native-level speaker is a must) and English
- Experience recording, editing, and producing videos
- Understanding of age-appropriate Spanish vocabulary and instructional approach
- Ability to present material in an engaging, effective manner
Responsibilities
- Create short Spanish-language instructional videos targeting individual IXL reading and writing skills at the Elementary School level
- Most videos will be up to 5 minutes long and scripts will be provided
- Produce videos that explain a given Spanish Language Arts concept and walk through examples
- Record high-quality voice-overs in Spanish
- Deliver video lessons in a clear, engaging, upbeat, and professional manner
- Adhere to video production guidelines and file specifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching Spanish Language Arts concepts is a plus
- Experience translating between English and Spanish at a professional level is a big plus!
- Bachelor's degree preferred; coursework in Spanish Language Arts or education is a plus
