Special Education Tutor

Join Tutor Me Education, a platform connecting tutors with clients and school districts, and provide virtual instruction to students nationwide. This remote position offers flexibility with setting your own availability, hourly rate, and choosing jobs based on your expertise. Tutor Me Education prioritizes teachers and tutors with special education experience to provide 1:1 or group instruction. You will be responsible for making learning fun and interactive, tailoring instruction to student needs, and passing a background check if required. This contract position offers opportunities for additional tutoring and virtual instruction based on your experience, subjects offered, and availability.

Requirements

At least a Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual instruction to students nationwide
• Set your own availability and change it at any time
• Set your own hourly rate and negotiate on a per job basis
• Share the subjects you can teach the best, and systematically send jobs to your email based on those subjects
• Make learning fun and interactive, with the focus of the tutoring often determined by student questions and comments
• Pass a background check if required

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous tutoring/teaching experience highly preferred
• Previous experience with special education, accommodations, and working with students with learning disabilities highly preferred
