The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of software testing experience, including 6+ years in automated testing of Angular applications, and proficiency in Playwright and TypeScript. NICE offers a hybrid work model (NICE-FLEX) with flexibility between office and remote work.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software testing roles, with 6+ years in automated testing of Angular applications
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript for test automation
- Proficient in test automation design patterns, tools, and writing tests in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong debugging skills and experience triaging logs to identify root causes of issues/bugs
- Skilled in creating detailed test plans, scripts, and reporting results
- Expertise in API/Web Services Testing tools like Postman
- Experience in building UI & API automation frameworks
- Practical experience in manual and automated testing across UI, business logic, data access, and APIs
- Solid understanding of test types and their application in the SDLC
- Familiar with cross-browser and non-functional testing strategies and tools
- Knowledge of SQL and Jenkins for CI/CD
- Experience with AWS technologies (CloudFront, S3, etc.)
- Familiarity and/or experience with public cloud infrastructures and technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Performance testing of API and UI based applications
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans for functional, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript preferred)
- Perform manual testing where necessary to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects effectively
- Participate in code reviews and advocate for QA best practices
- Ensure efficient use of tools and processes, including version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
- Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve quality and reliability
- Participate and contribute to team Scrum ceremonies
- Create and maintain the required documentation
- Is a team player
Preferred Qualifications
ISTQB certification (or equivalent) preferred
