Summary

ActiveProspect is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer/Architect to design, build, and maintain their data infrastructure. This role requires 7-10 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role, preferably in the marketing or SaaS industry. The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable data pipelines, designing a scalable data architecture, implementing data quality checks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 7-10 years of proven experience as a data engineer or in a similar role, preferably in the marketing or SaaS industry

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ingress and egress data pipelines across our data platform
• Standardize data ingestion and transformation processes to ensure consistency and efficiency
• Work closely with data and product teams to understand data requirements
• Design a scalable and efficient data architecture that supports the business needs
• Be an advisor to product engineering teams on an as-needed basis for data architecture decision-making
• Implement and monitor data quality checks, data governance policies, security policies, and other best practices to ensure data integrity and compliance with industry regulations
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, data models, and data integration processes
• Optimize and manage our data warehouse to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability
• Solicit feedback and facilitate buy-in on proposed solutions from stakeholders
• Effectively communicate critical decisions to all stakeholders
