Senior Talend Data Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Senior Talend Data Engineer and work 100% remotely from Washington, D.C.! This 12+ month contract requires 10+ years of experience. You will leverage your expertise in Talend, SQL, and AWS to build complex data pipelines. Preference is given to candidates located near Washington, D.C. for occasional in-office collaboration. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL skills and experience with AWS cloud platforms. Additional experience with Redshift, PySpark, Scala, and other AWS services is a plus.

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of experience
• Talend Expertise
• Proficiency with SQL
• Experience using AWS Cloud Platform

Responsibilities

• Create complex Talend Data pipelines (Using TMap, TInput, TExtract, all kinds of Functions)
• Read data from S3
• Write to Redshift using Talend
• Write SQL against Redshift to reconcile, unit test the data with Source

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Redshift extensively
• Comfortability with PySpark, Scala
• Experience using AWS Services - Glue, Lambda, EMR
