Summary
Join rockITdata's Emerging Solutions team as a Senior Consultant / Data Engineer! You will play a key role in driving client success for major healthcare organizations. Responsibilities include designing data visualization dashboards, developing data workflows, performing in-depth data analysis, applying AI/ML concepts, and developing business cases. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support client engagement. This position requires a BA/BS degree, 3+ years of experience in data and analytics, and expertise in various data analysis tools. Experience with healthcare clients and familiarity with healthcare regulations are preferred.
Requirements
- Must have a BA/BS Degree
- Must have 3+ yearsβ experience in the data and analytics space
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Python, R, SQL)
- Expert-level skills in Talend (or similar) and data visualization platforms (e.g. Qlik, Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong statistical analysis and predictive modeling capabilities
- Advanced Excel and database management skills
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong presentation and storytelling abilities
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Critical thinking and problem-solving expertise
- Ability to lead project development
Responsibilities
- Design and create complex data visualization dashboards to communicate insights effectively
- Develop and test data workflows to transform, cleans and structure data for consumption
- Perform in-depth data analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Apply AI and ML concepts to bring innovation to clients
- Develop business cases, strategic recommendations, and implementation plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex business challenges and demonstrate subject matter insights
- Support client engagement from initial discovery through final recommendation and implementation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with healthcare clients and healthcare-specific data systems and electronic health records (EHR)
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory environments (HIPAA, ACA)
- Experience in data privacy and security protocols
