Summary
The job is for a Senior Data Scientist at Rula, a mental health company dedicated to providing quality care and reducing stigma around mental health. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments related to patient clinical improvement, retention, and provider expansion. Requirements
- An M.S. or Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical field with strong quantitative foundation
- 8+ years of experience working directly in a data science capacity in the focus area(s) of marketing, analytics, product, or engineering within an organization
- 4+ years of experience working directly on building algorithms and making algorithmic recommendations for business optimization
- 4+ years of experience working directly on A/B testing, including experiment design, deployment, and results interpretation
- Advanced technical expertise with scripting language (Python or R), SQL and at least one visualization tool (Looker, Tableau, Hex, etc.)
- Previous experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders within Product, Business, and/or Engineering teams to tackle unstructured and ambiguous business problems

Help millions of patients find the right therapist by designing, executing, and interpreting new experiments based around patient clinical improvement, patient retention, provider expansion, and more
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment with the ability to handle dynamic priorities and creating MVP solutions when needed to move quickly
- A proven ability to spearhead and uplift company wide A/B testing capability
- Advanced proficiency in NLP, large language models, and/or generative AI
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with emphasis on presentation skills and communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
