Summary

Quince is looking for a Senior Inventory Planner with 4-6 years of experience in inventory planning or related roles to build models, reports, and processes that improve in-stock levels of raw materials, shorten product lead times, and maximize sales potential. The role may also involve forecasting and supply planning for a segment of the business. Collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and technology is required.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years in Inventory Planning, Merchandising or related Analytics or Technology roles
  • College Degree Required, MBA or Masters in Supply Chain Management

Responsibilities

  • Drive system and process changes necessary to rollup raw materials forecasts for the most significant products
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to hit key milestones necessary to drive forecast handoff to support key seasons
  • Partner closely with the internal sourcing team and directly with vendors to collaborate on forecasts and maximize inventory availability
  • Work with sourcing to model vendor relationships, vendor terms, and risks
  • Build short, medium, and long-range plans in support of the strategic needs of the business
  • Forecast Items at the style-color-size level by week while achieving key performance indicators such as In-Stocks, Inventory Turn, Return on Investment, and others
  • Perform analytics to answer questions that will lead to improved KPI performance
  • Present Forecasts, Strategies and Plans weekly to executives
  • Potential to manage 1 or more individuals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfortable herding cross-functional teams toward a common objective
  • Project and program management skills a plus
  • The ability to collaborate with internal and external partners to maximize opportunities and minimize risks
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using advanced statistical functions in Excel
  • Fluent with Google Suite, & Microsoft Excel
  • Experience prototyping Inventory Optimization Techniques and converting to scalable Technology
  • Strong commitment to continuously improve
  • Ability to find, organize, and use data to draw conclusions while minimizing the use of assumptions
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where established processes may not exist
  • Extroverted & comfortable working cross-functionally and cross-culturally
  • Insatiable curiosity and the desire for answers
  • Willing to have a point of view and share it with business partners, peers, and executives
  • Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as business changes
  • Ability to thrive in a start-up environment
  • Committed to building scalable processes and industry winning technology
  • Extremely effective presentation and communication skills while effectively utilizing supporting materials and applications
