Summary

Join Logixboard, a rapidly growing customer experience software company in the freight forwarding industry, as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. You will play a key role in building and improving our platform, working on projects from data acquisition to user experience. This position requires 3-5+ years of software engineering experience and a collaborative work style. You will take ownership of projects, develop system integrations, and work closely with product and design teams. Requirements

  • Have 3-5+ years of real-world experience with software engineering best practices
  • Possess an emphatic, collaborative, and consultative work style
  • Have a healthy mindset towards stepping outside of your comfort zone by seeking out opportunities to continuously develop your skillset and being able to learn from experiences that don’t end as expected
  • Understand that simple solutions are the best solutions
  • Have an acute attention to detail with an understanding for the importance of quality and finish on the end user experience
  • Have experience building large, modular applications with all the usual technologies associated with an ecosystem around testing, packaging, and deployment
  • Have experience working with 3rd party data providers and normalizing that data into a larger system
  • Be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of projects that will span across our full set of systems from data acquisition to the end user experience, or impact only a specific aspect of our systems
  • Develop system integrations across multiple technologies and providers to provide customers with a near real-time tracking and information
  • Model and normalize incoming data into our system across all sources to provide a consistent user experience across data providers
  • Work closely with our Product and Design teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant user experiences
  • Help drive best practices around both Frontend and Backend development within the team
  • Be a mentor for other engineers on the team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience in common technologies we work with throughout our stack including React, Material UI, StorybookJS, TypeScript, GraphQL, Node.js, Temporal, Postgres, Dynamo, and AWS
  • Have experience working in common DevOps technologies and aren’t afraid to poke around in the infrastructure
  • Have curiosity around programming languages and services where you have enough insight across the programming landscape to step into unfamiliar code and make sense of what is going on
