Remote Senior Fullstack Engineer

Summary

Join Logixboard, a rapidly growing customer experience software company in the freight forwarding industry, as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. You will take ownership of projects spanning our systems, develop system integrations, model and normalize data, collaborate with product and design teams, and mentor other engineers. Requirements

• 3-5+ years of real-world experience with software engineering best practices
• An emphatic, collaborative, and consultative work style

• The understanding that simple solutions are the best solutions

• Experience building large, modular applications with all the usual technologies associated with an ecosystem around testing, packaging, and deployment
• Experience working with 3rd party data providers and normalizing that data into a larger system

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects that will span across our full set of systems from data acquisition to the end user experience, or impact only a specific aspect of our systems
• Develop system integrations across multiple technologies and providers to provide customers with a near real-time tracking and information
• Model and normalize incoming data into our system across all sources to provide a consistent user experience across data providers
• Work closely with our Product and Design teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant user experiences
• Help drive best practices around both Frontend and Backend development within the team
• Be a mentor for other engineers on the team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in common technologies we work with throughout our stack including React, Material UI, StorybookJS, TypeScript, GraphQL, Node.js, Temporal, Postgres, Dynamo, and AWS
• It’s an added bonus if you also have experience working in common DevOps technologies and aren’t afraid to poke around in the infrastructure
• Curiosity around programming languages and services where you have enough insight across the programming landscape to step into unfamiliar code and make sense of what is going on
