Sr. MDM Support Engineer, Remote - Worldwide

Summary

The job is for a Senior Mobile Device Management Support Engineer at Streamline, a digital transformation company. The role is remote and requires extensive experience with Apple products, networking, mobile security best practices, and MDM/EMM space. Additional preferred skills include expertise in Intune and Jamf, programming languages, Jira Service Desk/Confluence, building and modifying APIs, and DevOps Experience.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Mobile Ecosystem Support
• Extensive experience with Apple products, including MDM, ABM, and App review
• Background in networking, specifically VPN, DMZ and Firewall configuration & troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of mobile security best practices, including IdP/MFA and device hardening
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers
• Proficient in software and infrastructure troubleshooting, issue triage and root cause analysis
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from C Suite to ICs
• Hyper-focused on ensuring an excellent customer experience

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with product leaders and other experienced Engineers to execute combined product visions
• Spend most of the time working to build across a variety of multi-platform applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred expertise in Intune and Jamf
• Experience with Apple Business Manager (formerly Apple DEP)
• Ability to troubleshoot application installation, network connectivity, and management issues
• Accuracy and strong attention to detail are critical components of this role
• Monitor and Triage Help Desk ticketing systems and SLAs
• Documentation skills - creating and updating knowledge base articles
• Adhere to team best practices. Cut once, measure twice mentality
• Worked in fast-paced production environments, where attention to detail and the ability to multitask are vital
• Ability to adhere to and meet deliverables following strict service level agreements
• Must demonstrate strong organizational skills
• Ability to take initiative and collaborate across teams
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• JAMF 200 Certification
• DevOps Experience is a Plus
• Experience with Intune and/or Jamf
• Programming languages (Python, Go, Swift, Bash)
• Experience with Jira Service Desk/Confluence
• Ability to build and modify APIs
• Experience with HTML/HTML 5, CSS, JS, ReactJS, TypeScript both web and mobile following platform specific guidelines and building robust APIs
