Sr .NET Software Engineer, Remote - Worldwide

Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team dedicated to delivering best-in-class solutions for dental customers. This role involves advanced full-stack programming, mentoring junior engineers, and working with various technologies. The expected starting base salary range is $100,000 - $135,000.

Requirements

• 5 + years of experience building desktop UI and backend enterprise software utilizing our technology stack
• Skilled in unit testing
• Understanding of domain-driven design
• Experience with cross-team interdependent roadmaps
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively estimate engineering work within 6–12 month timelines

Responsibilities

• Development of enhancements and elimination of bugs in Henry Schein One software
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings
• Mentor more junior engineers
• Solve complex problems using knowledge, passion, and curiosity
• Craft code that reflects an expert understanding of object-oriented design, refactoring, clean code, clean architecture and solid engineering principles
• Work with Product and UX Designers to create clean, intuitive user interfaces
• Partner with our DevOps team to build and support CI/CD pipelines
• Follow the Test Driven Development (TDD) paradigm when possible and mentor others in its use

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Understanding of Behavioral Driven Development (BDD)
• Past experience converting legacy applications to a microservice architecture
• Experience with Revenue Cycle Management software
