Sr. Platform Engineer, Remote - Brazil

Summary

RecargaPay is seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer with expertise in CI/CD processes, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, New Relic, and information security. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing platform solutions, enhancing developer experience, configuring CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, orchestrating Kubernetes clusters, implementing cybersecurity measures, and establishing monitoring practices.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Proven experience in platform engineering with a focus on agile development
• Deep understanding and practical experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Github, New Relic technologies
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices, such as Github Actions, Jenkins, GitOps
• Practical experience in building platforms and adopting Internal Developer Platform (IDP)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in dynamic environments
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multifunctional teams
• Proven ability to provide technical leadership and mentor less experienced team members

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable platform solutions
• Enhance the developer experience, ensuring efficiency and ease in the development cycle
• Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines to support agile development practices
• Work closely with the development teams to ensure continuous integration and continuous delivery of high-quality software
• Implement and maintain cloud infrastructures using AWS services
• Orchestrate and manage Kubernetes clusters to support distributed applications
• Implement robust cybersecurity measures and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
• Establish effective monitoring and observability practices to ensure system performance and reliability

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques
• English or Spanish is a plus
