Sr. Software Engineer - Infrastructure

Summary

The company is dedicated to improving mental health care and seeks an experienced infrastructure engineer to design, implement, and optimize infrastructure solutions. The engineer will contribute to the backbone of the technology, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Required qualifications include 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a focus on services, infrastructure, scaling, and cloud computing, and experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working directly as a software engineer, with a focus on services, infrastructure, scaling, and cloud computing
• Experience designing and implementing scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions
• Experience working with distributed systems architecture and principles
• Prior experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Passionate about writing well-tested code
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize infrastructure solutions such as AuthZ, Message Queues, API Mashups, workflow orchestration, and event-driven systems that power the company's mission

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms including SSO, OIDC, OAuth etc
• Experience writing production services in Node.js
• Experience with iterative development - deliver early and often for fast feedback
