Sr. UX Researcher

Summary

The job is for a Senior UX Researcher at BambooHR, a Utah-based hybrid company. The role involves guiding the user research practice, mentoring and training product teams, standardizing research processes, conducting user research activities, and being an advocate for users. The position requires 4+ years of software based UX research experience, has extensive experience to draw from and is willing to take initiative in moving objectives forward with little oversight.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software based UX research experience
• Experience training and delivering complex info in a consumable way
• Portfolio of work demonstrating a high level of expertise in user research

Responsibilities

• Define and implement best practices for user research across the product team
• Mentor and train product designers and product managers and help them plan, conduct, and share the results of impactful user research
• Standardize user research processes and presentations by identifying tools, creating research templates and deliverables, etc
• Drive research that will uncover meaningful insights into our users' behaviors, motivations, and goals by leading research activities like user interviews, contextual inquiry, quantitative surveys, diary studies, co-design sessions, concept evaluation, etc
• Be an advocate for our users. Synthesize research and present findings in ways that create a strong empathetic understanding of our users
• Oversee ongoing usability testing and evaluation of our current products and identify and prioritize opportunities for improvements
