SRE Lead Engineer

Summary

Join Encora as a SRE Lead Engineer and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. This remote position, available in Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Bolivia, requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, extensive software development experience, and advanced English skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications
• Professional/ Advanced English skills
• +5 years of experience
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, ensuring efficient team coordination and goal achievement
• Solid understanding of software development, testing methodologies, and business analysis practices
• Experience with Agile methodologies, facilitating an adaptive and responsive team environment
• Knowledge of quality assurance practices and standards in software development

Responsibilities

• Utilize software tools and automated tasks for continuous monitoring and ensuring application reliability
• Respond swiftly to emergencies impacting reliability in production environments, performing root cause analysis for ongoing incidents
• Oversee and streamline change management processes to enhance system performance and reliability. Ensure the successful deployment of releases to production environments
