Summary

Join Luma Health as a Staff Accountant and become a key contributor to the financial operations of our rapidly growing company. You will be responsible for managing the general ledger, month-end close processes, accounts payable, and receivable functions. This role requires strong financial and accounting skills, experience with NetSuite, and a detail-oriented approach. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to improve current processes and contribute to a company making a difference in healthcare. The position reports to the Sr. Order to Cash Manager.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in related experience
  • Knowledge of NetSuite is a must
  • Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope business requirements and prioritize
  • Ability to actively listen and learn, multi-task, and prioritize
  • Must possess the ability to work independently and operate in a team environment
  • Experience in a SaaS environment
  • Ability to manage a complex set of objectives and team goals in a fast-paced environment
  • Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office and Google suites (Excel, Word, Docs, Sheets etc.)
  • Commitment to excellent internal and external customer service

Responsibilities

  • Processing daily customer billing/invoices in NetSuite
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondences for Accounts Receivable
  • Collection correspondence and follow ups
  • End to end ownership of the Accounts Payable process
  • Participation in all aspects of the month end close process including GL account reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, and work paper preparation
  • Assist with the implementation of new software and tools
  • Assist in financial statement preparation
  • Drive process improvements and increase automation
  • Assist with the annual audit
  • Other duties as assigned
