Join IntelliDyne, LLC as a Staff Accountant and become an integral part of our Finance & Accounting Department. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining daily accounting functions. This remote, full-time position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field and at least two years of relevant experience. You will review and process invoices, expense reports, and timesheets, reconcile reports, and assist with various ad-hoc tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Deltek Costpoint is essential. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct, relevant experience in accounting and/or finance is required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel to include lookups and pivot tables
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Review and maintain the AP inbox to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, purchase orders and employee expense reports as well as requesting/receiving department lead/manager approvals
  • Enter cash receipts, monitor aging reports and follow up with clients on overdue payments to ensure timely collections
  • Combine pdf voucher packages and electronically file AP, AR, and other items to keep the department organized
  • Review and process timesheets on a semi-monthly basis, create and review timesheet reports, assist with processing payroll and complete timesheet corrections
  • Complete reconciliation of reports, including credit cards and sub reports, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Assist with other ad hoc requests including but not limited to updating excel spreadsheets, saving monthly bank statements, booking travel reservations, setting up new hires and terminations in Costpoint, property tax returns, and audits
  • Support the Senior Accountant in the development and management of DCAA financial deliverables including annual DCAA incurred cost submission
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Accounting Principles for sound and effective internal controls to include Deltek Learning videos and webinars to stay up to date on the latest changes
