Summary

The job is for a Staff Data Engineer who will design, build, and maintain data pipelines, work closely with data scientists, optimize data models, implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance, and evaluate new technologies. A degree in Computer Science or a related field, experience with big data technologies, proficiency in programming languages used in data engineering, understanding of data warehousing principles, and excellent analytical skills are required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Proficiency in programming languages used in data engineering, such as Python, Scala, or Java
• Deep understanding of data warehousing principles and ETL processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines to support analytics and machine learning models
• Work closely with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and implement data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making
