Staff Data Engineer

Summary

Join Wizeline, a global digital services company, as a Data Engineer. You will build and maintain large-scale data engineering solutions, focusing on analytics and reporting. Requirements

• Possess advanced Databricks skills
• Demonstrate a consulting mindset
• Have expertise in data modeling
• Possess strong general programming skills
• Have solid experience with Python; if not proficient in Python, be proficient in other languages and demonstrate the ability to learn new ones quickly
• Have experience working with SQL in advanced scenarios requiring heavy optimization
• Have 10+ years of experience with large-scale data engineering, emphasizing analytics and reporting
• Have experience building cloud-scalable, real-time, and high-performance Data Lake solutions
• Be proficient in designing and implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for large volumes of data (terabytes requiring distributed processing)
• Have experience developing solutions within Cloud Services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Have an advanced English level

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with Scala
• Have experience with Spark
• Have solid engineering foundations (good coding practices, good architectural design skills)
