Summary
Join Particle Health as a Staff Data Product Manager and lead the development and execution of our data platform strategy. You will own the vision and roadmap for core data products, collaborating with engineering, data science, and clinical experts. This pivotal role requires defining platform capabilities, developing product roadmaps, and driving the product development lifecycle. You will also manage data sources, establish performance metrics, and proactively address challenges. Requirements
- 9+ years of product management experience, with minimum 5 in the healthcare industry, including significant time building data platforms or data products in the healthcare industry
- Expertise in healthcare data (e.g., standards like C-CDA, FHIR, HL7), regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, TEFCA / Cures Act), and compliance standards
- Proven track record of delivering scalable, high-impact solutions in a startup or fast-growing environment
- Ability to translate customer needs and market opportunities into clear, actionable product strategies
- Strong experience driving cross-functional initiatives across engineering, legal, compliance, and customer-facing teams
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate vision, align stakeholders, and influence diverse audiences
- Strategic thinker with a bias for action, capable of navigating ambiguity and delivering high-quality results
- Outcome-focused, with a track record of driving measurable business and customer value through thoughtful execution
- Passionate about improving healthcare through technology, with a collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy and continued evolution of Particle Insights Platform
- Define and own core data platform capabilities, ensuring alignment with customer demands, regulatory requirements, and Particle’s business strategy
- Develop product roadmaps that balance near-term wins with long-term platform scalability and differentiation
- Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle of data platform features, from concept through launch, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery that meets customer expectations
- Drive improvements in data quality and usability, including optimizing for different use cases
- Validate early-stage concepts through pilot programs, iterating based on feedback and performance data
- Manage Particle’s data sources and external partners, including ensuring compliance with data use agreements
- Establish metrics to track product performance, usability, and impact, ensuring continuous improvement based on insights and customer feedback
- Proactively address challenges such as data quality and usability, data governance and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate across teams to advocate for customer needs, ensuring alignment between engineering, compliance, and business stakeholders
- Participate in industry working groups to grow our impact and influence in the larger industry
- Serve as a product evangelist internally and externally, translating complex technical capabilities into clear, actionable solutions that resonate with customers and partners
- Represent Particle Health’s product vision and strategy to senior leadership, customers, and industry stakeholders, positioning the company as a leader in healthcare data solutions
