Summary

Join Canva's Global Marketing Research & Data team and redefine how the world experiences design. This role focuses on improving the impact of marketing by developing innovative measurement frameworks, translating model outputs into actionable insights, and collaborating across teams. You will serve as a thought leader in marketing measurement, driving data literacy and best practices. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, deep knowledge of marketing measurement techniques, and experience with data analysis using SQL, Python, or R. Requirements

  • Possess strong communication skills; love asking the right questions to understand a problem and can influence stakeholders through data-driven story-telling
  • Have deep knowledge of marketing measurement, including attribution, MMM, incrementality testing, and assessing marketing efficiency
  • Be capable of shifting seamlessly between overarching goals and detailed execution
  • Have a proven record of solving ambiguous problems and proactively uncovering hidden opportunities that drive business impact
  • Be able to own projects end-to-end with autonomy - from discovery, delivery to communication
  • Have competency with SQL and building data pipelines
  • Know how to wrangle and analyse data using Python or R
  • Be experienced in working with international teams and understand the nuances of collaborating across cultures and markets
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have a track record of owning high-impact projects and delivering results under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative marketing measurement frameworks, including attribution methodologies, marketing mix modelling (MMM), and incrementality testing, to assess the impact of our marketing investment across diverse regions
  • Closely collaborate with senior leadership to translate modelling and experimentation outputs into clear and actionable insights that drive both short and long-term decision-making
  • Coordinate with collaborators across Canva to shape analysis and recommendations. Identify the opportunities and proactively rally people around the solutions
  • Serve as a thought leader and mentor in Marketing Measurement at Canva, aligning teams around key insights and acting as a driver of data literacy and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

Have experience with Snowflake and dBT
