Staff DevOps Engineer, Release Engineer

Summary

Join SentinelOne's Release Engineering team as a Staff DevOps Engineer and contribute to the deployment of our industry-leading cybersecurity SaaS platform in a federally regulated environment. You will build and enhance CI/CD processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure FedRAMP compliance. This role requires extensive experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and continuous delivery. You will leverage your expertise to automate deployments, resolve incidents, and improve the efficiency of our deployment framework. Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in running SRE/DevOps/Infrastructure Engineering for SaaS products
• 3+ years of production experience with a container orchestration system
• 3+ years of experience with Continuous Delivery
• 7+ years experience in running operations at a large scale
• U.S. Citizenship

Responsibilities

• Build highly scalable, reliable internal CI/CD processes for our federally regulated environment
• Work closely with the development teams to create automation strategies for deployment, self-testing, and alerting. You will also help improve the efficiency of our deployment framework procedures
• Drive continuous software delivery, resolve incidents run incident post-mortems, provide feedback on engineering architecture decisions, and automate repetitive operational tasks
• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that address specific operational, compliance, and pipeline issues
• Ensure that all aspects of our infrastructure meet and maintain FedRAMP compliance standards
• Stay abreast of the latest FedRAMP guidelines and integrate them into our operational practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred experience in implementing and supporting the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) and other applicable government standards, policies, and regulations (e.g., NIST 800-137, NIST 800-53, 800-37, and 800-39)
• Multi-cloud experience in AWS/GCP (expertise within AWS is preferred)
• Familiarity with GitOps and frameworks
• Familiar with IaaC and tools
• Familiarity with deployment strategies like blue-green, rolling deploys, canary deploys, and best practices around deployment automation
• Demonstrated professional experience working in at least 1 main language (Python/Go/Ruby/etc)
• Familiarity with SecOps and Compliance processes is desired
