Staff Engineer, Identity Access Management

Join Fullscript's Identity Access Management Engineering team as a Staff Engineer to lead projects, craft the roadmap, and ensure the health of the domain. As the lead engineer within the IAM space, you will work with technical leads and engineers to solve problems on our fast-growing platform.

Requirements

• Passion for IAM and Security — Keep tabs on evolving threats, technologies, and solutions
• Knowledge of directory services (e.g. Active Directory, LDAP), Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies, multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions and role-based access control (RBAC)
• You are passionate about fostering strong engineering practices and processes
• Experience working on high-scale web applications
• 5+ years of experience in software development with a modern full-tech stack. Ruby, Rails, React, JavaScript, Graphql, and Apollo, are preferred

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the IAM Engineering ‘pod’ (a small team of full-stack engineers)
• Being involved in meetings to propose, discuss, and refine new features and functionality
• Lead or coordinate the IAM team’s work and keep projects on schedule
• Identifying gaps in the current IAM process and suggesting improvements
• Serves as the organizational spokesperson for IAM-related activities
• Work with Tech Leads, Director of Engineering, Security, and Legal to maintain a quarterly view of defined, prioritized, and scoped work
• Plan and architect projects, leading design discussions and decisions
• Contribute to the code base and work alongside engineers to take projects over the finish line
