Staff Engineer, QA Automation

Summary

Join Nagarro, a rapidly growing Digital Product Engineering company, as a Software Test Automation Engineer. You will leverage your 7+ years of experience in software testing, including UI and API test automation with TOSCA, to ensure the quality of our applications. You'll be responsible for creating test plans, executing automated tests using various languages and tools, and collaborating with the development team. A strong understanding of Agile methodologies and excellent communication skills are essential. This role requires proficiency in defect management, test reporting, and working with CI/CD tools. You will contribute to creating dashboards and providing insights on testing progress.

Requirements

• Have 7+ years of total experience
• Possess strong experience in software testing, including automating test cases for web applications
• Have experience working with TOSCA for UI and API test automation
• Have experience with TOSCA Server, and TDS for test management and reporting
• Have hands-on experience in defect management and familiarity with bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)
• Have hands-on experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Possess strong communication skills with experience in client interaction and ensuring their requirements are met in the QA processes
• Have a proven ability to create dashboards and provide meaningful insights on test execution, coverage, and status
• Have experience using Selenium WebDriver and TFS, JIRA, GIT, Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
• Possess a solid understanding of Agile principles and experience working in an Agile environment
• Have a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Automate test cases for web applications using TOSCA for UI and API test automation
• Work with TOSCA Server, and TDS for test management and reporting
• Manage defects and utilize bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)
• Work in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring their requirements are met in QA processes
• Create dashboards and provide meaningful insights on test execution, coverage, and status
• Utilize Selenium WebDriver and TFS, JIRA, GIT, Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
• Analyze application requirements and specifications to create test plans and test cases
• Design, develop and execute automated tests using Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, VBScript, Maven or other languages as required
• Utilize Test Automation Framework, Behavior Driven Testing, Gherkin, Jenkins, API Testing, Test Planning and Strategy, Rest Assured as required
• Use testing tools such as UFT, TOSCA, Test Complete, Katalon Studio, Appium, Coded UI, Protractor, Selenium, or other tools as required
• Use testing frameworks such as Junit, Nunit, TestNg or other frameworks as required
• Ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of the applications
• Identify and report bugs and defects
• Generate and maintain test reports and documentation
• Collaborate with the software development team and other stakeholders on software quality
