Summary

Neptune is seeking an experienced Staff Frontend Software Engineer to lead the development of their web UI application. The role involves setting technical direction, cooperating with other engineers, and defining the architecture of the web application. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in frontend software development, proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React, and is proactive and constantly learning.

Requirements

• You have 10+ years of experience in Software Development of frontend applications
• You are proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript (hands-on role)
• You have solid working experience with modern JS frameworks, React preferably
• You perform an excellent code review
• You’re always hungry for more knowledge – learning new things is natural for you; you do it constantly

Responsibilities

• Leading building larger, strategic features of the web UI application that is scalable, portable, and flexible
• Cooperating with other Frontend Software Engineers helping them move forward when needed
• Actively working with others at Neptune – helping to design new features
• Defining our web UI application’s architecture
• Driving the agenda – actively setting priorities of technical initiatives, frequently by example implementing more complex ones (this is a hands-on role)
