Staff Physician

Summary

Join KMG Medical Group as a staff-level telemedicine physician to provide high-quality virtual care to patients with chronic conditions. You will consult and treat patients, review medical history, and manage treatment plans. Collaboration with an integrated care team is essential. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all relevant laws. The ideal candidate is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine, with at least two years of telehealth experience and multiple state licenses. Requirements

• MD/DO with ABMS Board Certification in either Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
• At least two (2) years of telehealth experience
• Multiple state licenses required; must have at least 5 licenses
• Ability to work at least 32 weekend hours a month (4 weekend days) and 4 holidays a year
• Excellent written and verbal communication with an emphasis on clarity and compassion
• Ability to consult with patients through virtual communication channels
• Willingness to work across various chronic conditions / service lines

Responsibilities

• Consult and treat patients experiencing chronic medical conditions
• Discuss and review patients' medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications
• Proactively check in with patients on their treatment plan, as appropriate
• Work with our integrated care team when patient requests require other support
• Answer patient messages and adapt their treatment plans, as needed
• Provide feedback about opportunities to improve quality of care and operational processes
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state information privacy laws
• Advising patients on suitable diets and exercise regimens to improve their overall health
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

Fluency in Spanish both (both written and spoken)
