Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and maintaining large-scale, consumer-facing web applications
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with a deep understanding of modern web technologies, frameworks, and best practices
- Strong grasp of UX/UI principles, with a demonstrated ability to influence design and product decisions
- Proven track record of successfully collaborating in cross-functional, distributed teams
- A customer- and product-centric approach, making thoughtful trade-offs between speed and quality
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to define clear, actionable plans that align with our technical and product vision
- Develop, maintain, and optimize high-quality code for Geminiβs trading experiences, with a focus on performance, reliability, and reusability
- Create and refine UI components that deliver a seamless, engaging user experience while adhering to industry best practices
- Continuously research and integrate emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends to enhance development processes and outcomes
- Facilitate effective communication across teams and time zones, ensuring dependencies and priorities are well-managed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with web3 libraries (e.g., viem, wagmi, permissionless.js)
- Familiarity with animation libraries and techniques to enhance user interaction and engagement
- Interest in full-stack development and willingness to learn our Scala-based backend stack
- Experience with performance analysis tooling and optimizations
- Background in rapidly scaling companies and effectively working with geographically dispersed teams
