You will play a key role in designing and building our Integrations Platform, connecting our platform with various customer tools and systems. This involves developing robust connector frameworks, integration infrastructure, and developer-facing tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless, secure, and scalable data and permission flow. You will contribute to a delightful developer experience by building SDKs, CLI tools, and documentation. This position requires strong backend or platform engineering experience and expertise in enterprise integration patterns. Requirements
- Strong experience as a backend or platform engineer, with 5+ years of experience building scalable services, APIs, or integrations
- Experience working with enterprise integration patterns—including webhooks, event queues, third-party APIs, and hybrid (cloud/on-prem) environments
- Proficiency in one or more modern backend languages (e.g., Python, Go, TypeScript) and strong knowledge of API design, system performance, and software architecture
- Familiarity with identity and access management systems, such as SCIM, OAuth2, SAML, or integrating with IDPs and HRIS tools
- A thoughtful approach to developer experience, both in the systems you build and how you communicate technical decisions
- A bias toward action, a high bar for quality, and a track record of shipping platform features that scale well and are loved by other developers
Responsibilities
- Design and implement core components of our Integrations Platform, including APIs, event-driven systems, and connector orchestration layers that support a wide range of cloud and on-prem integrations
- Build and extend our integration framework, enabling reusable patterns for authentication, job retries, error handling, observability, and developer onboarding
- Work across teams to deliver high-performance, secure, and maintainable integrations with external systems such as Okta, Workday, Azure AD, ServiceNow, and more
- Contribute to a delightful developer experience by building SDKs, CLI tools, and documentation that accelerate integration development both internally and externally
- Drive key technical decisions and lead by example—through architecture reviews, mentoring, and pairing with other engineers on complex problems
- Champion resilience, observability, and scalability in every layer of the integrations stack
