Staff Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a software engineer at ngrok Inc., responsible for designing, building, and implementing core software systems to improve the platform. Requirements

• 7+ years professional experience writing quality, production software
• Must have Go experience or one of the following languages: Rust, C, Java or C++
• A passion for growing and up-leveling your peers, and have pre-existing mentoring experience and a nuanced view around how to help junior engineers grow
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
• Proven record of deploying high value software for large distributed systems

Responsibilities

Design, build, and implement core software systems that leverage and improve the ngrok platform

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in startups a plus
• Kubernetes experience a plus
