Staff Software Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Staff Software Engineer and play a leading role in designing, developing, and optimizing cloud-based software that supports the operation and growth of Signify Health business. As a strategic member, you will leverage your experience to be an impact player, design solutions for complex enterprise-scale business problems, understand both business and technical implications of architectural decisions, and collaborate with architects and software engineers to introduce new technologies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development and/or architecture experience
• Strong foundation in commercial software engineering: problem solving, data structures, algorithms, patterns, concurrency
• Experience as a senior developer that has shipped enterprise grade software using programming languages such as C#, Java, Kotlin, Golang, Javascript, Typescript
• Hands-on experience with asynchronous, event-based systems design and architecture using tools like MSMQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes microservice orchestration patterns
• Demonstrable development experience in Azure, AWS or GCP
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication

Preferred Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of APM platforms such as New Relic, Data Dog, Splunk
• Healthcare technology experience
• Experience with agile methodologies

• Base salary hiring range: $128,500 to $223,900
