Staff Software Engineer, Conversion ML

Summary

Join Liftoff's Conversion ML group as a Software Engineer and design, implement, and scale efficient ML pipelines for real-time and batch processing. Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience in Software Engineering and/or Infrastructure
• B.S. or higher in Computer Science
• Very strong coding ability
• Experience with Machine Learning, PyTorch and PySpark
• Deep understanding of computer architectures, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience building machine learning tooling and/or platforms
• Good team communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Design & implement reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient ML pipelines – Build and scale efficient pipelines for real-time and batch processing
• Gain hands-on experience with training and serving ML models at scale
• Develop software that enhances team productivity
• Model Monitoring & Improvement – Track performance, detect drift, and automate retraining
• Work with an experienced team of ML, Software, and Infrastructure Engineers
• Use strong communication skills (verbal and written) to explain statistical and machine learning concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Be part of an “engineering excellence” culture through state-of-the-art tools, risk-driven testing, explainable systems, and code review
