Staff Software Engineer - Mobile

Summary

Join ResortPass, a rapidly growing company revolutionizing the hospitality industry, as a seasoned Software Engineer. As a technical owner for our iOS and Android apps, you will directly report to the VP of Engineering and play a pivotal role in shaping our engineering culture. You will set the architectural direction of our mobile apps, lead execution of our ambitious roadmap, and contribute to team maturity. This influential role requires 8+ years of professional experience with mobile technologies and a proven track record of building high-quality applications used by a large user base. Located in or near NYC, this in-person role offers a competitive salary ($190,000 - $235,000) plus equity.

Requirements

• You have worked professionally with mobile technologies for 8+ years
• You have experience building mobile applications used by hundreds of thousands of users
• Understanding both Android and IOS concerns is required
• You have a passion for building great products that delights users
• You have a proven track record of building applications that maintain a high bar of quality
• You are an empathetic communicator who can work seamlessly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• You are passionate about great product that delights the customers while delivering business value

Responsibilities

• Set the architectural direction of our mobile apps, considering both the scalable long term and practical short term implications
• Tech lead and execute on our ambitious roadmap releasing milestone products that will carry the company to its next phase
• Along with senior technical leadership, push the team’s culture towards maturity while staying stage appropriate
