Staff Software Engineer, Web Platform

Summary

Join our fast-growing SaaS company as a Staff Software Engineer on the Web Platform team, responsible for developing client-facing and internal web applications.

Requirements

• Have 8-12 years of work experience in frontend development with modern technologies
• Expertise navigating a full stack environment (frontend, backend, database and infrastructure)
• Able to debug and diagnose issues in complex systems across the stack
• Have a good understanding of application and system design
• Use Windows and WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) as your day to day development environment

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development, planning, architecture, and design of client-facing and internal web applications
• Work with a broad range of technologies with a focus on the web and frontend, contribute to all parts of the stack and platform
• Collaborate with other engineers, PMs, designers and other groups within the organization in a remote-first environment
• Be involved in projects from the requirement phase all the way to production
• Raise the bar on engineering standards, testing practices and documentation, while mentoring and sharing learnings with the rest of the team
