Summary
The Solutions Engineering team at Grafana Labs acts as customer-facing product experts, enabling growth by educating potential and existing customers. They partner with sales teams to help close opportunities and communicate feedback to internal teams. Solutions Engineers need 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, strong communication skills, a technical mindset, and a desire to grow technically.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with Open Source technologies, or in the Metrics/Monitoring space
- Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership skills
- First-class written and oral communication skills
- A technical mindset and a desire to grow technically
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Sales team to articulate the overall Grafana value proposition, vision and strategy to customers
- Own the technical engagement with customers and help close complex opportunities
- Deliver product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers
- Effectively communicate with customers and internal teams to provide feedback on products and the competitive landscape
- Drive product conversations based on need and problems with customers
- Work with the team to enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles and create other public or private enablement material
